Engineering tools for a defined fruit plant boundary

Estimate material requirements and prepare site inputs with the assumptions visible. These tools support a project discussion; they do not issue a validated design.

01

Season and recovery balance

Translate a running raw-intake rate and productive time into seasonal raw and intermediate quantities.

Effective hours/day = scheduled hours × productive fraction. Raw kg/day = running raw kg/h × effective hours/day. Recovered intermediate = raw mass × declared recovery.

Concentration mass balance

Calculate retained soluble component, concentrated output and removed water at a specified recovered-feed boundary.

Concentrated product kg/h = feed kg/h × inlet soluble-solids fraction ÷ target fraction. Removed water = feed − concentrated product.

Product-to-pack planning balance

Keep running product mass and average packing output separate. This is a mass requirement, not a speed promise.

Running packs/h = available product kg/h ÷ declared net kg/pack. Scheduled average = running packs/h × productive packing fraction.
