Fruit Puree Processing Flow Chart Process Flow

Puree flow is driven by fiber, seed removal, viscosity, heat treatment and aseptic packaging.

Reference flow

Receiving -> Washing -> Sorting -> Crushing or destoning -> Pulping -> Refining -> Deaeration -> Tubular sterilization -> Aseptic filling -> CIP

This process flow is for preliminary RFQ planning only. Final equipment selection depends on raw material, finished product, Brix, viscosity, particles, packaging and utilities.

Flow stages

Step-by-Step Engineering Logic

01. Receiving and sorting

Remove damaged fruit and define ripeness before preparation.

02. Crushing or destoning

Prepare fruit according to stone, peel or seed structure.

03. Pulping and refining

Control fiber, seeds, skins and particle size.

04. Deaeration

Reduce oxygen and foam in viscous puree.

05. Tubular sterilization

Treat puree with viscosity-aware heat exchange.

06. Aseptic filling

Fill into drums, bins, pouch or other validated package.

Critical parameters

Fruit Puree Processing Flow Chart RFQ Parameters

ParameterReference Only Planning QuestionWhy It Matters
Raw materialFruit variety, maturity, peel, seed, stone and fiber condition.Raw material condition controls washing, sorting, yield and hygienic risk.
Finished productPuree, pulp, paste, nectar base or aseptic bulk ingredient. The finished product decides extraction, heat treatment, evaporation and filling.
CapacityFresh raw material intake per hour or day, shift hours and seasonal campaign.Capacity controls equipment size, tanks, utilities and staffing.
Brix and viscosityNatural Brix, viscosity, particle limits and target texture. These values drive mass balance, pump, heat exchanger and filling selection.
PackagingAseptic drum, bag-in-bin, pouch, bottle or jar.Package selection changes sterilization, filling and storage logic.
FAQ

Process Flow FAQ

Can this flow be used as a final design?

No. It is a reference flow chart for RFQ preparation. Final design must be confirmed from raw material tests, product specification, utilities and factory layout.

Where does most equipment selection happen?

Most selection happens at extraction or pulping, heat treatment, evaporation if needed and filling. These stages change with viscosity, particles, shelf life and packaging.

What data is needed to refine the flow?

Send raw material form, finished product, capacity, Brix, viscosity, particle limits, heat treatment, packaging and utility data.

Can the flow support future products?

Future products can be considered, but the priority product should drive the first design. Optional routes can add cost and complexity.
